Samsung has exciting news for Galaxy smartwatch users as they have officially launched the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program for Galaxy smartwatches. This new update will introduce the Galaxy AI experience to Samsung’s smartwatches for the first time and will be preloaded on the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series set to be released in July.
The beta program is now live in the US and South Korea, allowing users to test the next major upgrade of the One UI Watch on their existing Galaxy watches powered by Google’s Wear OS. Unfortunately, the One UI 6 Watch beta will not be available in other countries.
The Galaxy Watch 6 is the first in line to receive the One UI 6 Watch beta, with both the Bluetooth and LTE-enabled versions eligible to enroll in the program. Users can sign up for the beta through the Samsung Members app. Additionally, the beta will also be accessible for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series.
The One UI 6 Watch upgrade comes with a range of exciting features and changes that aim to enhance the overall user experience. Users will now be able to monitor their energy levels through Samsung Health’s new energy score, providing insights into their physical and mental readiness based on sleep and physical activity.
Furthermore, Galaxy AI-powered sleep insights offer more detailed analysis of sleep quality, including heart rate and respiratory rate. Users can also create custom workout routines by combining different exercises and setting targets for sets and reps.
The update also introduces new control features, such as double pinch actions for quick responses, faster horizontal scrolling, and the ability to view ongoing activities at a glance. Universal gestures allow users to take immediate actions without manually changing focus, while modes can automatically adjust settings based on activities or location.
Users can now access their favorite emojis instantly, save image attachments from messages, and enjoy a stylish new font with One UI 6 Watch. Additionally, the update offers improvements to battery life by optimizing power-saving features and automatically connecting to Bluetooth audio devices when playing music.
Overall, the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program brings exciting new features and enhancements to Galaxy smartwatch users, offering a more personalized and efficient user experience. Stay tuned for the official release of the Galaxy Watch 7 series in July with the preloaded One UI 6 Watch upgrade.
