The final steps are being taken in order to make the 2021 Whitman Baltimore Winter Expo available for collectors and dealers to return to Baltimore Convention Center following the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 expos due to pandemic restrictions.

The public will be able to view the expo this year from Nov. 18-20.

The only restriction on pandemic attendees will be mandatory masking as of October 26th. Baltimore’s Convention Center was reopened in July. The city’s website states that “it is mandatory that anyone entering Baltimore Convention Center wear a facial covering that covers both the nose as well as the mouth.”

Lori Kraft, Whitman Expos general manger, said that the show will get everyone in the groove. “We keep our eyes on the positive, and it’s wonderful to see the light at end of the tunnel. We are glad to be moving forward after having to get ready and then wind down.

The Whitman Expo is traditionally held three times per year at the Baltimore Convention Center. Maryland’s pandemic restrictions resulted in the cancellations of the March, June, and November 2020 expos, as well as the March and June 2021 conventions. All of them were to be held in Baltimore.

The 2022 Spring Expo will be held from March 31 through April 2, while the Summer Expo will take place June 9-11, 2022.
