About a quarter of the flights scheduled for Thursday, June 9 at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) airport are canceled due to a strike by airport staff, who are demanding salary increases, announced Paris Airports (ADP).

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) asked companies to reduce their number of flights between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, while several European airports have recently faced enormous difficulties in managing travelers due to lack of staff.

For Wednesday, ADP announces that a social movement of security personnel affects airports. “Long waiting times are to be expected at controls at Roissy-CDG and Paris-Orly. (…) Plan to arrive at the airport at least three hours before your international flight and two hours before your domestic or medium-haul flight. »
