The 2021 Texas Numismatic Association medal version comprises the Apache Geronimo, in a style by Frank Galindo, TNA awards officer.

Geronimo is recalled as a fierce pioneer who fought against of their encroachment of the U.S. government into Apache lands as well as because of his people’s rights to their own traditional lands. His whole family was murdered in 1851 and that he sought revenge, continued a course of vengeance from the Mexican authorities. After being confined to a booking, he died in 1909.

The obverse of this 2021 decoration features Geronimo’s picture, flanked by emblematic mountains. The inverse provides the official seal of the TNA. Single bronze awards are priced at $6.50 postpaid; decoration sets (just one bronze medal plus one 1-ounce .999 good silver trophy ) are available for $45 each, plus $4 postage and handling. An extra $2.50 per prize is necessary for insured mail.
